We Welcome New Members
What better way to have a pleasant time, share smiles and laughs, keep boredom at bay or simply give of yourself, than by volunteering your time with the Castlegar Hospital Auxiliary Society. The Auxiliary welcomes new members who are young or old! Perhaps, one has retired or thinking of retiring and wondering what one will do with their time; come down to the Treasure Shop and find out what you can bring to the organization.
Volunteers are always needed and welcome at the Hospital Auxiliary Treasure Shop. We are a warm, friendly and caring group of volunteers and would love to bring on board everyone interested in joining this worthwhile organization.
By becoming a volunteer of the Castlegar Hospital Auxiliary Society, you will have the pleasure of working with other volunteers at the Hospital Auxiliary Treasure Shop. We encourage our volunteers to be active and volunteer at least 3 hours a week. There is so much to learn and so much to do! Check it out!

Castlegar & District Hospital Auxiliary Gives the Gift of Food to Our Community
Our volunteers are so pleased to be able to give $5000 each to the Castlegar Community Food Bank and Operation Feast.
Treasure Shop Christmas Last Day for Shopping in 2025 is December 20, 2025
Our volunteers will be taking a well earned Christmas break beginning December 21, 2025.
Castlegar & District Hospital Auxiliary Supports Local Volunteer Fire Departments
The volunteers of the Castlegar & District Hospital Auxiliary are pleased to provide over $17,000 in funding for much needed equipment for the Tarrys, Ootischenia and Robson Volunteer Fire Departments.
