Members from the Castlegar & District Hospital Auxiliary Nettie Stupnikoff and Betty Beattie present $1000.00 to Rebecca McDonnell (center in photo) of Blueberry Creek Community School for their after School Care Program and TGIF Youth Night. The funds will be shared with Robson School for their after School Care Program.
The Auxiliary has donated to all local schools this year for their Meal Programs which amounted to $5,000.00. The Auxiliary had purchased items for the Christmas Food Hampers which amounted to $3,329.13. The total amount of money donated to the schools for their Meal Programs and for the Christmas Food Hampers totaled $8,329.13.
