The Castlegar & District Hospital Auxiliary Treasure Shop located at 210 – 11th Avenue (across from the Library) wishes to advise our customers that we will be closed for the entire day Thursday, October 25th in order to complete transition of clothing to winter wear. We apologize for the inconvenience it may cause.

Also the Wednesday evening workshops will no longer take place with the onset of winter. Our volunteers prefer to help out in daylight hours and not have to risk driving in dark/icy/inclement weather conditions. Therefore Thursday mornings have been chosen to conduct our maintenance workshops. The Treasure Shop will open Thursdays at noon to 4 p.m until further notice. Again we regret any problems this shift in hours of operation may cause you. Volunteers are most welcome and the recycling of cottons volunteers are particularly in dire need of extra pairs of hands. Please join our dedicated volunteers in helping to make our community a better place to live.

Currently underway until Saturday, October 27th is a 2 for 1 sale on curtains, drapes, linens, bedding and fabrics. All children’s books are being sold for 25 cents during this same time period.

The current Silent Auction ends Saturday, October 27th so place your bids by end of the week.

Your honoring our request to drop off donations Mondays and Saturdays only (with the exception of special needs) is greatly appreciated as well as your telephoning first 250 -365 – 7317.

Thank you to our donors and our valued customers, we appreciate each and everyone of you.
