Nettie Stupnikoff is the new president of the Castlegar and District Hospital Auxiliary Society. She takes over from outgoing president Shirley Wanjoff.
An appreciation tea for all volunteers was held at Talarico Place, Friday, April 13, 2012. Volunteers of the Auxiliary and Foundation were present.

Castlegar’s Darlene Kalawsky and Nettie Stupnikoff were two of the 36 outstanding British Columbians named as recipients of the eighth annual BC Community Achievement Awards by Premier Christy Clark and Keith Mitchell, chair of the British Columbia Achievement Foundation.
